MCX Commodity Intraday Calls For Today: 1st Sept 2015

Sharp decline in the global market has a strong impact on the domestic market too. MCX Crude open with a strong decline. However, because of confusion in rising interest rates in US, the bullion is trading sluggish. On the other hand in Base Metals is trading down due to prospect of fall in demand from China. In Agri commodities mustard, refined grains are looking weak for today.

MCX Gold October futures is trading with a downtrend of 0.07 percent at Rs 26642 per ten grams. While silver prices also slipped 0.27 percent and has come to Rs 34284 per kg. Crude oil is trading at 2963 by losing 1.40 per cent today. Base metals also fell by 0.25 to 0.60 percent.

Market Eyes on Fed meeting

All eyes are on The US central bank Federal Reserve's meeting on September 16 and 17. Indeed, this meeting may indicate an increase in US interest rates. If interest rates rise then major currency will see a sharply bull trend against the dollar index and also it will have a negative impact on commodity prices.

MCX Gold October futures Buy between 26480 to 26530 level to get the intraday target of 26750 and 26780 also put a stoploss at 26350

MCX Nickel September futures Buy at a price range of 658-660 with a stop loss at 648 and set an intraday target of 675 and 680 level

MCX Crude oil September futures Buy Intraday at 2920 level for the target of 3020 and 3120 level with a stoploss at 2850 level.

In the domestic market, the price of soybeans is broken again. NCDEX soybean at the moment with a decline of 1 per cent is trading. The U.S. Department of Agriculture in world soybean production this year is estimated to grow to around 11 per cent is expressed.

Of late, US$1,790‐1,800 range has proved to be a strong resistance for the yellow metal and the breach of the same can only lead to resumption of upswing in prices. In Europe, S&P’s downgrade of Spain led the sovereign bond yields move closer to 6%; however they have retraced back now.

Nifty Trend and Intraday Tips For Today: 4th Oct

The 30-share BSE Sensex rose 141.79 points to 19,011.48 and the 50-share NSE Nifty went up 45 points to 5,775.95, supported by banks, FMCG, oil & gas, capital goods and auto stocks.

The BSE Sensex has touched a new 14-month high in early trade on Thursday, surpassing the 19000 level quite nicely - for the first time since July 8, 2011 -ahead of cabinet meeting for further reforms to revive the sluggish economy.

The UPA government is set for a second push for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's reform measures. The Cabinet is expected to clear 26 percent FDI in pensions and 46 percent in insurance in today's meeting. The Cabinet will also consider the Forward Contract Regulation Act (Amendment) Bill to empower commodity markets regulator FMC with greater financial autonomy. It will also take up the Companies Bill to bring all sectors under the Companies Act, amendment to the Competition Act and a proposal for operationalising the Infrastructure Development Fund (IDF), sources said.

The market trimmed gains after opening higher, intra-day volatility continued throughout the day. ITC hit record high. Gail closed at 52 week low. IT and metal stocks were mixed. Bank stocks were mostly lower after S&P revised the rating outlook of 11 banks/financial institutions in India from stable to negative. The market breadth, indicating the health of the market was negative. On BSE, 1,137 shares fell and 967 shares rose. A total of 745 shares remained unchanged.
