  • The BSE Sensex powered to a 31-month high for the fourth day on Thursday, with investor confidence upbeat on rising foreign portfolio inflows and easing concerns about Europe's debt troubles.
  • Lakshmi Energy has touched an intraday high of Rs 95.70 and an intraday low of Rs 92.50. At 3:35 pm, the share was quoting at Rs 93.25, down Rs 0.8, or 0.85% with volumes of 425,392 shares.
  • Hindalco has got most of the indicators in the positive both on longterm and shortterm accounts. Keeping stop loss of Rs 164, stock continues to be a hold, look for Rs 200 plus levels.
  • The circuit for next year's Indian Grand Prix will be ready in time and tickets for the first Formula One race in the country will go on sale by the end of this year.
  • Yen near 15-year high vs $; stocks, oil up: The yen edged near to a 15-year high against the dollar on Thursday as investors bet on the Japanese authorities are not yet ready to curb the currency's strength, while world stocks and crude prices rose.
